The Kielo Wrap Dress from Named Clothing
The #Kielowrapdress from Named Clothing was such a satisfying sew! I had seen this dress all over Insta-land for awhile and new immediately that it would make it's way into my sewing line-up eventually.
I ordered some big bold-printed, beautiful knit fabric from Fabric Mart and when it arrived I knew it was meant to be a Kielo.
This was a fairly quick sew. I think I would say this is an advanced Beginner to Intermediate level project, especially if you are accustomed to sewing knits.
The pay-off of this design though is amazing! It's a simple construction, but the design behind it allows for the wrap to pull in at the waist, leaving a very comfortable, but also stylish and flattering dress. My favorite combination... style and comfort!
I need to make another one in a basic, neutral color. The lines of the wrap and ties kind of gets lost with the print I picked. A solid color would showcase the design better. Go make this dress, it's a winner!
