Pattern Review for Simplicity 8641

sewhouse7.jpg

Hi Friends! I was so excited about this pattern the moment I saw it. I was always impressed with Sew House 7's other patterns and designs, it was fun to see their designs as a Simplicity pattern. Also, this pattern is basically the #BurnsideBibs except in dress form, which you can't really go wrong there!

This dress came together really easily. The instructions were clear and straight-forward, and the sizing is good. With the ties in the back, it does give you some wiggle room to adjust it to your exact waist, which is wonderful.

I picked a linen from Fabric Mart for this dress, and it creases like crazy, but that's the fun of linen right?! I thought this rusty color was really great for Fall which is approaching rapidly. :)

This is a good Advanced Beginner to Intermediate pattern I would say. I didn't have to change anything about it to make it work for me, which is always nice! Thanks for stopping by!
