Sewing the Sointu Kimono Tee by Named Clothing
If you need a super quick, super comfortable and flattering top to sew, the Sointu Kimono Tee checks all the boxes! I could live in this shirt.
I chose a fabulous ponte knit from JoAnn that has enough structure to hold some form, but still has enough movement to be comfortable and breezy.
The best thing about this shirt is that in can be sewn up in about an hour. So if you find yourself at the fabric store in the morning with some wonderful jersey in hand, you can have a shirt on your body by lunchtime. Which is what happened in this case.... ;)
I love a shirt that is not only super comfortable, but looks good too. I love the tie that pulls the waist in, but it could be worn without the tie too, for a more boxy top.
There will be more of these in my future, just as soon as I come across the right fabric.
