Burda Outfit Sew-Along
Hello Friends! If you would like to recreate the outfit shown here, I have 2 videos showing you step-by-step how to make each one! I know that Burda Style patterns can be a bit vague with their instructions, so I thought it would be helpful to provide a sew-along for these patterns to show you how to sew them from start to finish.
For the Trousers, I used Burda Style Pattern #123 from the 08/2019 issue. The link for this pattern can be found here. This is a stretch trouser pattern, so make sure to use a fabric with some stretch to it. I used this stretch Telio bengaline from Fabric.com to make my pants. I love the wide waistband and the button details on these pants.
For the top, I used the Silk Blouse pattern #119 from the 04/2018 magazine. The feature that makes this pattern unique are definitely the sleeves. They have a fun pleat detail that makes them super fun and bouncy. The fabric I chose for this top was this amazing Art Gallery rayon from Fabric.com. It's such a beautiful print, and the fabric itself has a beautiful, fluid drape to it.
Use the videos below and sew along with me! I would love to see what you make. Tag me or message me on Instagram and show me your finished outfit!
